My few complaint however are these. The same with the antenna it does not allow you to hook up an auxiliary antenna.
Other than these issues, I can not complain. The station tuning and presets are not easily set.
This unit has worked well to date. If you want to add additional wire, it must be spliced.
I find the sound quality to be very good for a budget shelf system. For the price I think it is a great value.
The speaker wires are internally attached at the speakers.
the seller shipped the cd player very fast, everything works great on the cd player tyvm
I think that there is something to the hypothesis that the system is extremely sensitive to movement. Next, I had to move to Texas, where the speakers worked for about a month. Now, no sound comes out. I bought this stereo model 1 1/2 years ago, and the speakers recently quit on me. The sound quality is great, if you can actually get something out of the speakers. The system was working fine for me in Arizona where I first bought it. I'm in the Army, and, as being in the Army goes, I move around alot. Then, I had to move to Korea, and the speakers worked well for the first 6 or 7 months, but afterwards they started to work intermittently.
I like its features and sound quality, but the brand is probably the issue. It could of just been defected. I got this stereo for Christmas last year. Of course, I've only had one of these, so I don't really know how many stars to give it. But whatever - if you're planning on buying a stereo, I'd go for Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, Pioneer, or some other inexpensive but quality designed unit. Sadly, the speakers quit on me within a few months. RCA's brand quality is about Middle to Low.
No sound coming out of the speakers or the headphone jack at all. I bought this stereo nearly a year ago and it was working great until a couple weeks ago. Aparently it's not worth the repair. There are several online reports of this being a common problem with this model. At first the CD player was having troubles, wouldn't recognize or play certain CDs (regardless of type: original or burned CD). Then, one day, the sound just didn't work.
